Infinite Telesolutions Private Limited (ITS) being a major
vendor of managed telecom services, needs a large number of
trained engineers. With this in view, a training facility
was created in June 2006 to train young graduate engineers
in specific requirements of cellular industry. This had a
capacity of 16 students for a course of 23 working days. Progressively
not only has the requirement of engineers for ITS grown manifold,
many engineers trained by it have also found employment in
renowned companies like Ericsson, Aircom, Siemens, Reliance
ADAG, Satyam etc. ITS has restructured its training as follows
Basic capsule of 23 working days to include
a) GSM & CDMA Theory.
b) Propagation and antenna Theory
c) Futuristic communications like 3G, LEMKO.
Capsule on Tools Used
a) Installation & Commissioning tools like Site Master,
GPS......
b) Drive Test Tools like Agilent & TEMS (Latest Versions)
c) RF
RF Planning to include
a) Planning Process
b) RF and Tx Survey
The basic course and capsules have a mixture of theory (67%)
and practical (33%). The capacity has been increased to 32
and further expansion is planned.
Infrastructure for Training
ITS has two classrooms, each with seating capacity of 16.
IT also has a well equipped lab for practical works. In
addition students are taken outdoor for practical training
in skills like Installation, Commissioning and Drive Test
etc. Instructors not only have through knowledge of subjects
they teach but also possess communication skills. They have
years of experience working in various disciplines of cellular
industry. They are dedicated and result oriented. Visiting
faculty are engaged for special subjects.
Future Plans
Besides expansion of capacity, ITS Plans to start training
